Kathmandu: The possibility of shifting the T20 World Cup cricket tournament to Australia to 2022 has increased.

The tournament, which is scheduled to take place from October 11 to November 5, is likely to be postponed, an ICC official said. The ICC board meeting is being held on Thursday to decide on the T20 World Cup, among other agendas.

Top ICC officials have told the International News Agency that there is a strong possibility that this year’s T20 World Cup will be postponed.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning to hold the IPL at that time if the last T20 World Cup is postponed. But a decision will be made on Thursday. The board meeting will be by video conference.
