A total of 114 coronavirus cases have been reported in Nepal on Wednesday.
This is the largest number of infections transmitted in a single day.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Vikas Devkota said that a total of 886 infected people reached Nepal on Wednesday afternoon. Of them, 699 are undergoing treatment and 183 have recovered, he said.
The infection was confirmed in 90 people on Tuesday. So far, four people have died from the infection in Nepal.
As of Wednesday, the number of people infected with the coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 5.5 million.
The death toll worldwide is more than 348,000.
